About Angela Porteous - Virtual Personal Assistant

In September 2007 I set up my Virtual Personal Assistant service, operating from my Isle of Wight location, and with the wonders of technology I can offer my support to you remotely, whether at your business base or on your travels, via your Mac or PC, smartphone or mobile.

The demand for virtual assistance has certainly increased and my clients range from the fields of management, marketing and creative consulting, as well as private individuals - mainly working together regularly, but also on a one-off project or 'as and when' needed basis.

I have spent most of my career as a Personal Assistant and Office Manager, mainly in the media and communications industry based in London. Having worked closely with several company founders I have had the opportunity to contribute to the success of their business, in my capacity as right-hand support and assisting with the daily running of the office or department.

Naturally, this has involved dealing with all levels of people, including daily contact with clients and various suppliers.

On a personal basis, I am a creative soul at heart and a lover of the great outdoors - weather permitting! So when it is time to play I shall either be pursuing my love of the arts, seeking inspiration for my garden, or beachcombing!
